Role Overview:

As Head of Operations, you will own the end-to-end operational performance of Puresport across e-commerce, retail, and international markets. From sourcing and inventory to systems and compliance, you’ll ensure the company scales with excellence - not shortcuts. A key member of the senior leadership team, you’ll work closely with the CEO and department heads to shape both the strategic direction and internal culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire supply chain: sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, and delivery.

  • Lead the new product development (NPD) process from concept to launch—including supplier sourcing, testing, compliance, and GTM execution.

  • Build forecasting and inventory systems that balance cash flow and availability across D2C and retail channels.

  • Align operational planning with commercial strategy—ensuring readiness for launches, sales peaks, and promotions.

  • Implement and optimise tech systems including ERP and inventory management tools.

  • Manage logistics and 3PL partners across UK and international markets.

  • Drive cost efficiency across COGS, freight, packaging, and production—while maintaining exceptional product and brand standards.

  • Ensure seamless retail operations—from delivery and stock flow to readiness for commercial moments.

  • Maintain rigorous product quality and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Prepare the business for scale with professionalised, automated, and data-driven processes.

  • Build and lead a high-performance operations team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Retail to deliver company goals.

  • Be a core member of the senior leadership team—shaping company strategy and team culture.

  • Be a reliable execution partner to the CEO - proactively owning initiatives and solving problems.

Candidate Profile:

You Will Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, ideally in a high-growth consumer brand.

  • Proven experience scaling operations from £10M to £30M+ revenue.

  • Deep supply chain knowledge—especially in supplements, wellness, FMCG, or food.

  • Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and operational optimisation.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen—you understand how ops impacts margin and cash.

  • Calm and structured under pressure—you bring solutions, not chaos.

  • A high standard of integrity—you care about doing things the right way.

Bonus Experience (Not Required but Beneficial):

  • Managing international logistics and 3PLs, particularly in EU and US markets.

  • Understanding compliance standards in global markets (e.g., labelling, supplements, customs).

  • Experience implementing ERP or inventory tools to enable omni-channel operations.
