Job Title: Videographer & Media Assistant
Department: Media
Location: Vale Park, Hamil Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 1AW
Type: Full-Time (Minimum 37.5 hours per week)

Role Overview:

Port Vale FC is looking for a talented and imaginative Videographer & Media Assistant to capture and produce compelling video content across its football, commercial, and community activities. Working closely with the Media team, the successful candidate will bring the club’s stories to life through innovative, informative, and trend-led content. A passion for football, strong visual storytelling, and a proactive work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Film interviews, training sessions, matchdays, and other club events.

  • Edit highlights, interviews, and original content for multiple platforms.

  • Produce engaging content for social media and the club website.

  • Deliver commercial and community content requirements.

  • Contribute to creative planning and execution of video ideas.

  • Maintain high production standards and attention to detail.

  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends for match coverage.

  • Fulfil any additional duties as required by the club.

Candidate Profile:

  • A relevant qualification in video production or similar field.

  • Proven video editing and camera operating experience.

  • Strong portfolio or showreel showcasing creative ability.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (or similar).

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Passion for storytelling and football content.

  • Understanding of trends in digital and social media.

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience with animation or motion graphics.

  • Familiarity with football club content output and tone.
