Job Title: Men’s First Team Kit & Equipment Manager

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and travel)
Contract Type: Permanent

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will lead the kit and equipment operations for the Men’s First Team, from logistics and stock management to matchday preparation and post-match support. Working closely with coaching, medical, and performance staff, you will ensure all kit and equipment needs are met to the highest professional standards.

This is a hands-on and high-energy role, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced football environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the provision, preparation, and distribution of all first team training and matchday kit and equipment.

  • Organise logistics for home and away fixtures, including international tours.

  • Oversee laundry operations, kit and boot rooms, and training facility set-ups.

  • Manage stock control, inventory, and kit ordering with suppliers and procurement teams.

  • Ensure compliance with league regulations, competition rules, and commercial requirements.

  • Uphold security and health & safety standards for kit, equipment, and facilities.

  • Provide full matchday support – pre-match preparation, in-game assistance, and post-match duties.

  • Lead and line manage the Kit & Equipment team, ensuring efficient and professional operations.

Essential REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a kit and equipment management role within a sporting environment. Previous experience at a football club is desirable.

  • Valid UK driving licence.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of professional football operations and requirements.

  • Flexible, proactive approach, with the ability to travel and work evenings/weekends.
