Role Overview:
The Head of Marketing, Brand & Digital will lead the strategic direction and execution of all marketing, digital, content, and PR activity across the Club’s portfolio. This high-impact role will drive audience growth, revenue, engagement, and digital innovation across Glamorgan Cricket, The Hundred’s Welsh Fire, and Sophia Gardens. The position offers a unique opportunity to deliver a full digital transformation and to build brands that resonate on a local, national, and international scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver data-driven marketing strategies to increase attendance, engagement, and revenue.
Lead the development and evolution of the Glamorgan, Welsh Fire, and Sophia Gardens brands.
Oversee a digital transformation across platforms, embedding a digital-first culture.
Own the marketing and ticketing revenue budgets, delivering maximum ROI.
Enhance fan experience and revenue through CRM, content strategies, and digital monetisation.
Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to drive value from partnerships.
Build and lead a high-performing team across Marketing, Digital, PR, and Content.
Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and fan-first thinking across the organisation.
Candidate Profile:
Proven senior leadership in marketing, brand, and digital strategy – ideally in sport, entertainment or consumer brands.
Demonstrated success in delivering commercial growth through insight-led campaigns.
Experience leading digital transformation and CRM implementation.
Strong leadership and team-building ability across multi-disciplinary functions.
Commercially driven with strong planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A passion for sport and an understanding of modern fan engagement trends.
