Role Overview:

In a nutshell, this role supports the effective running of Crystal Palace’s Academy by managing operations, administration, and logistics for its PDP age groups (U16–U21), while also leading the coordination of youth tours and tournaments. The role requires excellent organisation, knowledge of academy systems and an in-depth understanding of EPPP regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage U18 and U21 weekly schedules and communication via Teamworks

  • Complete all matchday and post-match admin for U16, U18, and U21 teams

  • Attend and coordinate Under-21 home fixtures, acting as liaison for away teams

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of the Academy Tours & Tournaments programme (U9–U16)

  • Handle trialist paperwork and scholarship applications

  • Coordinate hotel and transport arrangements for U16–U21 squads

  • Lead daily and weekly ‘Whereabouts’ submissions in line with FA Anti-Doping regulations

  • Administer monthly Scholar expense processes

  • Organise match officials for PDP and U16 fixtures

  • Liaise with Women’s Operations Manager to ensure effective site scheduling

  • Prepare slides, notes, and follow-ups for Academy Management Team meetings

  • Submit and manage purchase orders

  • Support general administrative needs across all Academy departments

  • Uphold the Club’s policies on Health & Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities

Candidate Profile:

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience within a Category 1 or 2 academy environment

  • Proficient use of Teamworks and strong general IT capability

  • Familiarity with Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) standards

  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills

  • Passionate about youth football development
