MOJOE Celebrates £150k F&F Funding Milestone Before Major Pre-Seed Round
We’re excited to share that MOJOE has secured £150,000 in early funding, thanks to the support of our network and SEIS assurance.
Over the last few months, myself - Joe Davis - and my co-founder, Tim Alexander, have quietly raised this early capital through what's traditionally labelled a friends and family round.
Truth be told, we hate the term 'friends and family' and always feel uncomfortable using it, because the reality is we've leant on our broader network for this investment. We are so grateful to those who have bought into the MOJOE mission so early on in our journey and for putting their trust in us - as first-time founders - to go away and execute.
It's been a new experience for us both, but we're proud of where we stand today. This backing has allowed us to lay strong business foundations, assemble a talented team and develop our beta product - all critical pieces of the jigsaw. We’ll soon be taking our MVP to market, to capture data, gather feedback and iterate ahead of the development of V2, which is where the true value of our business lies.
Our ambition is, and always has been, to build the world’s first AI-powered digital career coach for athletes - a platform that learns from each athlete’s unique profile and circumstance, and delivers hyper-personalised guidance, recommendations and interventions at scale. Always-on, intelligent, and, most importantly, personal.

The £150k we’ve raised to date has allowed us to validate our assumptions; build a team that we are proud of; secure strategic partners; and put our first product in the hands of users.
But, while we celebrate the progress we've made so far, the next chapter will demand more - and we're so excited about it.
We’re currently preparing for a larger, more significant pre-seed raise, with £100,000 of SEIS allowance still available for those wanting to come in early on the most generous terms.
As we edge closer towards our Investor Morning in Manchester on Wednesday 16th July, this milestone felt like the right time to pause and share where we are - and where we’re heading.
The Investor Morning is an invite-only event, where we will be unveiling the V2 product vision for the first time, presenting the unbelievable market opportunity that exists and sharing the current status of the business, (warts and all), with plenty of time set aside for Q&A.
