Herve Pepe-Ngoma
After suffering a setback that halted his progress in professional football, Hervé Pepé Ngoma found a new rhythm - both on and off the pitch.
Balancing part-time football, a Sports Management degree at Nottingham University, and his growing career as a DJ, Hervé turned his passion for music into purpose, performing at events across the UK and Europe while staying connected to the game he loves. His journey didn’t stop there. Drawing from his own experiences of identity, culture and career change, he now delivers workshops for League Football Education, helping young players understand who they are beyond football.
In this episode, Hervé shares how he rebuilt his confidence after injury, utilised the learnings from his upbringing with Leicester City, discovered his creative voice through music, and learned to forge a career that aligns with who he truly is - proving that purpose can be found after sport when you discover and lean into the things you love.
